At SnipeDomains, we build tools for professional investors. We believe privacy is a fundamental prerequisite for high-stakes research. Our policy is simple: We only collect the absolute minimum data required to provide the service. We do not sell data. We do not track you across the web. We do not have access to your personal emails or files.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Chrome Extension and Web Dashboard.
3. Information We Collect
Our data collection is strictly limited to account provisioning, subscription management, and providing the core domain analysis functionality.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions Explained
The SnipeDomains Chrome Extension operates on a strict "dormant-by-default" model. It requires host permissions only for explicitly supported domain research platforms.

6. How Authentication Works
We use Google OAuth 2.0 to securely authenticate users without requiring or storing a separate password. When you log in, Google provides us with a secure authentication token, your name, and your email address. We exchange this token for a secure JWT (JSON Web Token) that our API uses to validate your subscription tier securely. We do not request scopes to read your emails or files.
7. AI Analysis & Domain Processing
When you trigger an analysis on a domain, the domain name is sent to our secure API endpoints. The domain name is processed by our proprietary scoring engine and, if applicable, our LLM partners. The output is scored and returned to your browser. Your research is highly confidential.
8. Data Storage & Retention
Data is stored securely using enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. Your watchlist and domain history are siloed and only accessible by your authenticated user ID. We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is completely purged from our active databases.
9. Payment & Billing Security
SnipeDomains never touches your credit card information. All payments, subscriptions, and invoicing are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle is a globally compliant, SOC2-certified payment processor that acts as a secure intermediary.
10. Investor Privacy Commitment
We explicitly guarantee a "Zero Front-Running" policy. We do not use user research data, search queries, or watchlists to snipe domains for our own portfolio, nor do we sell this data to competing investors.
11. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session securely. We may use minimal privacy-first analytics to monitor overall application performance (e.g., error rates and page loads), but we do not use invasive third-party tracking pixels for behavioral advertising.
12. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Erasure: Request the deletion of your account and associated data.
- Revoke Access: Disconnect Google OAuth via your Google Account Security settings at any time.
